Are You Planning A Memorable Mother's Day For Your Wife?

Mother's Day always seems like it comes from out of nowhere and you don't yet have a present. Don't panic. There's still time to buy a special gift and to plan a special day. From selecting a boy bag to planning a fun event, here are some ideas that might help you to plan a memorable Mother's Day for your wife.

Select A Beautiful Gift

Have you seen the original purses created by Coco Chanel? They're not only beautifully classic, but they can also be expensive. If you can buy an original, your wife should count herself an extremely lucky woman. However, if you know that your wife would love a boy bag that has the same appeal as the original but doesn't cost as much, think about getting a used bag. The Chanel boy bags come in several different designs and in different price ranges, whether new or pre-owned.

The pre-owned bags will probably still be expensive, but it will still be the real thing. If that matters to your wife, she'll probably be beyond excited when she opens her gift. However, if you aren't able to buy a new bag, your wife will still be thrilled that you went out of your way to select a gift that she will use for a very long time. To make the gift even more fun, think of putting a gift card of some spending money in the boy bag. And, tuck a love note in the bag, too.

Plan A Special Event

The key to Mother's Day events is that moms won't have to do a bit of work, right? Are you a good cook yourself? If so, plan a meal your wife will love and present it to her on a table that shows you have paid attention to making it look nice. If you're not known for your cooking, then arrange for delivery of food from one of your wife's favorite restaurants. Can you imagine how busy the restaurant will be on Mother's Day? With that in mind, think of placing your order ahead of time, or just take her out to eat.

If you have children still living at home, involve them in the planning of whatever event you will plan. If your children are grown and live away from home, let them know when you'll be away from your house so they'll call your wife at a different time.
